Deputy Manager - Burton (3-bed EBD Home)

An established 3-bed EBD home, rated Good, is seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join their team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality care for the young people residing in the home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide management support and assist in the overall running of the home

• Lead, motivate, and develop staff, ensuring high levels of performance

• Ensure that all care and support is delivered in compliance with regulations and the home's policies

• Manage the rota and provide on-call/emergency support when required, ensuring flexibility

• Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments for the young people

• Assist with safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (essential)

• Experience in working within an EBD setting, with a solid understanding of the challenges involved

• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Flexibility required for a rota that includes weekdays (Monday to Friday, 8 hours between 7:30 am and 11 pm) and 2 weekends per month

• Full UK Driving License (essential)

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
