Deputy Manager for Children's Home in Ilford

Leader Group are actively looking for a compassionate and driven Deputy Manager to join our client's team in Ilford, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, including weekend availability.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and promote the rights of young people
  • Maintain safeguarding standards
  • Liaise with the Service Manager on changes in care needs for individual residents
  • Keep records in line with company policies
  • Conduct structured key work sessions
  • Engage young people in service development
  • Communicate effectively across the team and with external professionals

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in children's residential care.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of OFSTED regulations and compliance.
