Deputy Children's Residential Manager
Location: Hatfield
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 annually including sleep-ins
Hours: Full Time, 39 hours per week
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence

Leader Group are partnering with an established provider of children's services, who are going through growth and seeking staff for a new home.

The Role:
Our client are expanding and looking for a passionate Deputy Home Manager in Hatfield. In this role, you'll support our team in delivering outstanding care, helping young people thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Guide and inspire your team to deliver therapeutic, tailored care.
  • Role Model: Set a positive example for children and colleagues, fostering growth and resilience.
  • Supervision: Mentor staff, manage shifts, and support care-focused training.
  • Daily Management: Ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high care standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 3+ years in a children's residential setting.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare (or willingness to achieve).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, budget management, and rota planning.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work shifts and participate in sleep-ins.
