Deputy Manager for Children's Home in Ilford
Leader Group are actively looking for a compassionate and driven Deputy Manager to join our client's team in Ilford, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, including weekend availability.
Role Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote the rights of young people
- Maintain safeguarding standards
- Liaise with the Service Manager on changes in care needs for individual residents
- Keep records in line with company policies
- Conduct structured key work sessions
- Engage young people in service development
- Communicate effectively across the team and with external professionals
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in children's residential care.
- Knowledge: Understanding of OFSTED regulations and compliance.
