Leader Health and Social Care have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated OFSTED Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed home for children with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders. About the Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of a children's home. With a supportive Responsible Individual (RI) already in place, the established home is perfect for someone looking to take a step up.

Your role will include:

  • Leading and developing a team of care staff to provide high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and maintaining high standards of care.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the home, including budgeting, staffing, and care planning.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
  • Driving continuous improvement and ensuring the home meets and exceeds regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and a track record of successful inspections.
  • Experience working with children with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children.
